i n t r o d u c i n g Gary Mickey Bass Guitar At age six I began classical piano lessons. My studies of the piano continued until age 16. From the piano I migrated to the guitar. For the next 20 years of my life I learned guitar inside and out. For the past six years I have been training on classical string bass. The electric bass is just another avenue for artistic classical bass “jazzed up” enough to dance to... My experience over the years includes nearly 100 groups & combos ranging from “the orchestral” to “music theatre” to “blues, jazz & soul combos” as well as a solid bass in Rock & Country. I’m currently studying music at the University of Oklahoma while playing bass and little tenor back up for the Elvis Thrasher Band. I finally found a band that just feels right. This one is it for sure! |
